DESCRIPTION:
Dave Hollins debuted with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1990 playing the position of third basemen. In 1993 Hollins helped the Phillies win the National League pennant. Over all Hollins had a batting average of .261 hit 112 home runs and batted in a total of 482 runs. After brief stints with a number of other teams Hollins found himself back with the Phillies in 2002 where he made his last major league appearance. As of 2009 Hollins continues to be part of the Philadelphia franchise working as a special assignment scout.
